I just wanted to let everyone know that I have NOT fallen off the face of the earth again. I have not made any post lately because I have been computerless. The motherboard in my laptop went out. Luckily it is still under warranty. Then our home computer got a virus. Jason has been nice and lets me use his work laptop to check email and facebook. But I think posts without pictures are kind of boring. Hopefully, my laptop will be back soon!

9 things about Isaac!

Last Friday Isaac turned 9! I can't believe how fast time is flying!!! We started the day right with Strawberry crepes, bacon, sausage, eggs and Snowcones! He got the snowcone maker for his birthday and loved making snowcones for every one. ( I said loved because it died today - Tomorrow I will try to return it/ get it replaced).

After breakfast, Isaac and Maura played croquet. Then he spent the day playing with friends. He had requested Nacho's for lunch, but he was so busy playing that he hardly ate anything. Then we went to Chuck E Cheese for his party. We only have friend parties every other year. Since I did a big Star Wars party last year, this one was a family party but we had a big group and we had a ton of fun.

oops! I got side track! This was going to be 9 things about Isaac in honor of his birthday. So, if your still reading... here we go...

1. He is a terrific BIG brother

2. He is very helpful

3. He cares about others

4. He loves video games

5. He loves movies (he wouldn't be a true Goddard if he didn't)

6. He loves to ride bikes and play with friends

7. He hates cleaning his room and doing his daily chores (don't all kid hate that)

8. He does NOT like vacuums any more (as a toddler he loved vacuums! At 3 he wanted a

Dyson and when we got one, he put it together while I was reading the instructions)
9. He is a great kid who loves to play jokes and have fun!

We usually eat dinner at 5:30 because me and the girls are starving!!! The other night I had run errands and was working on projects. The next thing I knew it was 7 pm and I was just starting to fix dinner. I didn't realize how late it was or how hungery we were until the twins started pulling food out of the pantry. First, they tried and tried to open power bars. Then they moved on to chex mix. Bella actually got it open and poured it on the floor.

The girls were so excited for food that they wouldn't even look up for a picture!!!

Abi has a become addicted to chocolate milk! When she wants it she will through the BIGGEST tempertantrum! Tonight I let her and Bell have some with dinner. A few minutes later Bell started fussing. I asked her what the matter was and this is our conversation...

Me: Bell, whats the matter?
Bell: A bee (abi)
Me: Abi took your cup. Thats why your sad?
Bell: es (yes)
Me: Abi why did you take your sisters cup?
Abi: (tilts her head to the side and innocently says) Awe gone? (all gone)
Me: Abi you drank your chocolate milk all gone, that is why you took your sisters?
Abi: Uh hu

New teeth

No this post isn't about the girls! It's about Isaac. On the 4th of July he lost half of his two front teeth in a light saber battle. We have an amazing dentist, Dr. Leaver, who met us at his office on a sunday AND a holiday to have a look. Then on Tuesday we went in and Dr. Leaver made Isaac two new front teeth.

Don't they look great! If any one is looking for a dentist, I highly recommend Alpine Dental in Farminton!

Bikes and Bones

On sunday we went for our first family bike ride. We rode around the neighborhood and then went to the park. It was Abi and Bell's first time in the bike traillor. I think they had a lot of fun!

Last night Isaac decided to Jump off the swing set. He landed on his left arm. After a while he seemed okay. He was teasing his sisters and running around. We went to Pack Meeting and He didn't complain. But then he woke up a couple times during the night in pain. The next morning, I took him to the dr. He broke his bone right by his wrist. He will be in a cast for 3 weeks. This morning, He was so excited to "finally" have a broken bone and get a cast. Unfortunatly, the excitement has already worn off and he now thinks the cast is no fun.

I know I'm a day late, but better late than never right?!? Yesterday was a great day! It started with me making GREEN SHAMROCK pancakes for breakfast.

Then we went to Texas Road House to celebrate my Dad's birthday. It was great company and lost of yummy food.

Then we went back to my parents house for cake and icecream. We had a chocolate cake that I made.
